Investment portfolio design starts by gathering such information as current investment holdings, tax picture, ages, work status, risk tolerance (how conservative or aggressive you want to be), time horizons, desired spending levels, and personal goals and desires.

Our team analyzes your current holdings as to asset allocation and risk exposures.  A financial projection is usually done to determine where you stand towards financial independence goals, or how much excess or "risk" assets you have vs. "core assets" needed to guarantee your long term security.  Proposed changes are developed to customize new positions believed to better fit your overall financial position, in light of your goals and objectives.

A presentation is made to you entailing your current positioning, overall financial health, and proposed changes.  How those changes would benefit you are detailed, as well as any risks or tax consequences they may involve.

Assets are moved to our oversight.  Any proposed changes are implemented.  Portfolios are reviewed monthly for performance vs. benchmarks, and are reviewed on a position level for performance as well.  Changes are made at our discretion, in line with your stated desires. Periodically, as you need it, we review the portfolio together so that you understand how you are doing, what's working, etc. We are always available by email, text or (usually, scheduled) phone calls in between any planned conversations.
